VE VEGAS believes that renaming things is the most radical political and philosophical act there is. Naming is defining what is desirable, what is just and what is possible, taking the place we once gave to the gods and kings. If we accept inherited words, categories, and metaphors, we also accept the moral and political limits that others set for us.
Renaming things is the primal act of creation: it’s deciding what deserves to exist, what logic will shape the future, and which map will replace the old one.
To step out of the role of mere spectators, it’s not enough to criticize. We must exercise the will to power as a creative capacity. We have the right to rename everything and start a new language. We have the right to build the world again.
