This is the President of Argentina, campaigning for mid-term elections at the end of the month, after a bad provincial defeat and in the middle of a mounting political and economic crisis.

In Europe, leaders often use fear to get what they want. And when that fails, they simply take it. And when we complain because we noticed, they insult us.
Milei, instead, uses rock and roll and what happens is that people give him what he wants, and more.
Politics is not about saying the “right” thing or the correct thing.
It is about making people feel.
Most importantly, it is about connecting with them.
And remember: to make people feel something and to truly connect, it has to come from the heart.

Damn it. I’m tired of the heartless, ice-cold European technocrats that they just see us either as goods, services, capital, labor, taxpayers, soldiers, saving accounts or childbearers. And plan us to optimise us into the most productive ans cost effective way.
For God’s sake, treat me like a human being, full of emotions like hopes, worries, joy, and disappointment, and full of aspirations, dreams, projects and longings for more.

Take whatever you want from me. Assign me whatever role you think I must play in this grand machine.
But please, just make me feel something.
