You must learn to proceed without certainty

I am calling for a rebellion of the imagination!

I am deeply bored

It’s not just a passing feeling. It’s a deep exhaustion, a yawn that comes from inside me in this 2026 world that seems to have lost the ability to amaze

We live submerged in the loudest noise in history: 3h podcasts that say nothing, books published just because and a flood of irrelevant information. But filter through the noise and you realize the tragedy: nobody is saying anything new

We are trapped in a room of people screaming, but everyone is just repeating ideas of people dead long ago. We use our reach only to manage an intellectual block that is killing us with boredom

In 1789 we opened a door to the future. For 2 centuries we dared to question, break and dream. But in 1989 someone decided history was over, that we had found the final model and no longer needed to think. Since then we’ve stayed locked in our living rooms repeating the past on a loop

What they sell as revolutionary today is just a buffet of historical leftovers: leaders bringing back liberalism from 200 years ago or religious nationalisms that are 20 centuries old. It’s a remix of ideas already rejected, now relaunched with a modern filter

In this desert we hold onto AI as if it were the future when it is actually the anchor that sinks us into our own past. AI doesn’t know how to invent what doesn't exist. It only chews up everything we’ve already said to give it back on a tray. We are using the most advanced tool in history to become prisoners of ourselves

That’s why it’s easier to imagine the end of the world than to imagine a different one. The apocalypse is a comfortable story just because it is already invented. The hard part is imagining a life 50 years from now that isn't a copy of today

Enough! We have become cowards

We are too lazy to imagine something that doesn't have a past to hold onto and we are terrified of being the first to step into the unknown. We are afraid of criticism, of the loneliness of defending an idea that no one has ever heard before. We are a generation of scared people who prefer a known failure over the uncertainty of genius

But the future isn’t something that just happens. It’s written and today nobody is holding the pen

I am calling for a rebellion of the imagination!

I need philosophers to stop writing footnotes and start proposing ideas that blow our minds

I need economists to break the usual charts, sociologists to imagine new connections and political scientists to escape debates from centuries ago

I need historians to remind us that everything was once invented and can be reinvented

And above all I need the artists, poets and filmmakers: we need symbols for things that don’t have a name yet

Things don’t exist if they aren't expressed. Thought only becomes reality when we put it into words, sounds, statues or screams

There is nothing more boring than giving up and nothing more dangerous than a lack of ideas

Lets stop looking in the rearview mirror and dare for once to imagine something genuinely new
