Normality limits, restricts and distorts how we understand ourselves and the world

I deeply despise the idea of being normal
I reject it with all my heart. We’ve been raised to believe that a normal body or mind is a safe haven, the ultimate goal we should all want. But that’s a lie. There is nothing good about being normal. It is the most suffocating human invention, a trap designed to make you ruin yourself just to fit in
Normality doesn't exist in nature; you only find variety and adaptation. Humans made it up when early scientists measured a group of people, averaged their traits and declared: "This is the right way to be"
Right then, reality flipped. Being different became a math mistake. They drew a fake straight line and anyone outside it was called broken, sick, or weird
This wasn't done to help us, but for money and control. When the world turned into a giant machine of factories, leaders realized that human chaos wasn't profitable. A factory cannot work with unique people, it needs identical parts
The main problem (and brilliant trait) with normality is that it replaces police with guilt. By convincing everyone that normal is "good," the system turns you into your own prison guard. When you don't fit in, you don't fight the system—you get mad at yourself. You feel ashamed and anxious, wasting your time and money trying to "fix" yourself. Normality tames you from the inside, making you think you are the problem
Here are 3 simple examples of how normal standards lie to us and hurt us:
That's why I hate normal things. Normality limits, restricts and distorts how we understand ourselves and the world
So step out of your invisible cage, stop trying to be normal, ignore the standards and unleash your individuality
In a world where everyone tries to be normal, being different is the only thing that makes a difference
